The judiciary has the power of JUDICIAL review. They can review a policy or law that is in place and can view it as UNCONSTITUTIONAL. They can also hear court cases and DEICED the out come.

The judiciary shares powers with congress by helping them and create policies and enforce the laws. They help with the executive by being appointed by the president and approved by congress they also help create policies as well. They can check the bureaucracy and see if the agencies are doing what there supposed to in a legal manner.

They share powers with congress because they can only be approved so one side is not to liberal ad the other conservative. they have to share powers with the executive so they wont become to strong and they share with bureaucracy so the bureaucracy wont do illegal actions for they agencies.

The judiciary can check on the other branches of government. They make sure the bureaucracy is doing there job in a legal fashion and they also are able to interpret laws and policies that are put in place. They are also capable of reviewing laws and POLICES put in play and DEICED if they are unconstitutional.

They do not have the power to enforce the laws on there own since they dont own the "sword" nor can they enforce them with the "purse" since they are also not IN CHARGED of any type of economic thing.

The judiciary has to confirm some people that are in the political parties and some judiciary members are chosen by people from the other political parties.

The interest group, if they dont approve of someone that is trying to get into the judicary branch, can announce there OPINION to the PUBLIC and can have them call there congress men so they dont confirm the person trying to get into the judiciary.

The media and "leak" information that was (not) given to them by certain POLITICIANS about who is trying to be confirmed into the judiciary branch. This allows the public opinion to be shown and this can determine if they will be confirmed.
Identify and discuss the ties between the Judiciary and state and local governments.
They help interpret the laws for the state and local government and help determine what is constitutional and what is considered unconstitutional.
